Since 2012 we have been celebrating New Year in the idyllic setting of West Lexham Manor in Norfolk. A thriving eco country estate, set around a lake with beautiful gardens, woodland and only 30 minutes drive from the sea.

Join us this new year for an uplifting celebration and begin 2027 with a clear mind, an open heart and a rejuvenated spirit! Come on your own or with your friends, either way you're guaranteed to have a great time.

Retreat programme

West Lexham offers plenty of space for a gathering of up to 40 yogis. There will be two wonderful yoga teachers, Jess Horn and Emma Arscott, leading the retreat and two separate yoga spaces, a stunning converted barn with underfloor heating and a charming village hall with wooden floors and an open fire.

Arrival time on Tuesday 29 December 2026 will be from 4pm and the first yoga class will be at 5.30pm. The retreat will finish after brunch on New Year's day.

Each morning there will be a yoga class followed by a delicious breakfast with free time and lunch to follow. We will then meet again in the afternoon for another yoga practice. For each practice you will be able to choose between a more challenging dynamic practice or something more gentle and restorative, as you feel. Each evening there will be dinner followed by a candlelit meditation or sound bath.

For New Year's Eve there will be a delicious celebratory dinner, celebrations and mulled wine around the bonfire.

Things to do

The retreat will be an opportunity for you to be in company with old friends or making new. If you prefer it will offer the chance to have some quiet time, space and reflection - it's your choice, alongside a morning and evening programme of yoga, pranayama, meditation and celebration.

West Lexham is perfectly situated for long country walks or you can take a short drive to the sweeping sandy beaches of Holkham and Brancaster for some sea air.

The property is set around a lake, perfect for a walk or a New Year's morning dip. Massage treatments will be on offer throughout the retreat. Or you can simply curl up in front of the fire with a good book.

Accommodation & food

West Lexham offers unique, beautiful and very comfortable accommodation with a mix of single, twin and double rooms, charming cabins and amazing treehouses.

There are comfortable and stylish rooms set around a courtyard and along the path leading to the yoga barn. All have natural light, luxury linen, heating and en-suite bathrooms.

Charming and cosy traditional flint cottages are also part of the estate. All cottage rooms offer chic interiors with twin or double bedrooms, most are en-suite, 2 rooms share a bathroom.

There are also stunning fully heated luxury treehouses and magical wooden cabins with en-suite bathrooms set around the lake.

Delicious healthy meals will be served throughout the retreat. Vegetarian delights to nourish body and soul using seasonal, organic vegetables, fruit and herbs picked daily from the West Lexham gardens.
